IDAT CAD Software

IDAT GmbH has been developing CAD software for the precast concrete industry for 25 years. Now Reid has the Australia and New Zealand Distribution rights for this state of the art system. IDAT's goal when designing the software was simple - ease of operation combined with a high level of automation to make both design time and training as short as possible.

This is achieved by creating a system around AutoCAD - something all designers in the construction industry are already familiar with. Right away draftsmen will feel comfortable using IDAT as they have experience with the interface and structure of AutoCAD. The second part of the equation is achieved by designing a package that is specifically tailored to the precast and tilt up industries. Anything that can be made using concrete can quickly and easily be drawn using IDAT software - from a simple grey panel factory to architectural multi level skyscrapers.

The IDAT system has several groups of modules available to suit different precast elements:
AcadWand - The wall panel module.  The system can do everything you can think of with wall panels in solid wall panels, sandwich panels, double walls and thermo walls.
AcadDecke - The precast slab module.  IDAT can create solid slabs, hollowcore, composite slabs (trans floor) and double T slabs.
AcadTreppe - The precast stairs module.  This can be used to create both straight stairs and winding stair cases.
AcadGCP - Columns, Beams, Facade panels, precast footing and any shape an architect can dream up can by drawn using the GCP module.
