Duro-nox TDS Duro-nox MSDS User Guide Duro-nox  Duro-nox is a high performance concrete floor hardener, greatly enhancing concrete’s resistance to abrasion, impact and wear.  Duro-nox penetrates deeply into concrete floors, densifying the surface through reaction with excess lime (calcium hydroxide) present in the concrete.  The reaction fills pores within the concrete with a hydrated calcium silicate by-product which happens to be one of the components that give concrete its strength.  This consumption of free lime in the concrete surface prevents it from reacting with atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) to form calcium carbonate, more commonly known as “chalk”.  It is this chalk that gives untreated concrete its’ typical “dusty” feel, and dust build-up occurs as this chalk is abraded from the concrete surface. Duro-nox’s water based and non toxic formulation is odourless and does not contain any volatile organic components (VOC’s).  Through use and cleaning over time, Duro-nox treated concrete floors develop an attractive, glossy sheen which will neither peel nor flake from the surface.  Duro-nox is supported by a 20 year performance warranty*.

Duro-Polish Plus provides a cost effective option for immediate high gloss finishes to silicate treated floors, with the added benefits of improved stain resistance and durable long lasting wear. 

The inclusion of a special stain blocking additive enables Duro-Polish Plus to resist staining from spills of a wide variety of food, oils, beverages, and other common materials.  Duro-Polish Plus’ small molecular size enables deep penetration into concrete where it chemically bonds to the inside of pores.  This ensures long-lasting stain protection while the very hard, durable and high gloss film protects and enhances the concrete surface without the risk of peeling and flaking.
