Features of the MACKETBRACKET®

  • The MACKETBRACKET® assembles quickly to the timber formwork using just 2 roofing screws (or similar).

  • The Forged Steel pin anchors the bracket to the ground. The MACKETBRACKET base also features provision to use on timber decks or floors.
  • It has a swivel adjustment head that remains at right angle when in use.  
  • Folds compactly when not in use, using minimal space.

  • How to use a MACKETBRACKET®

    Step 1:


    Remove the Anchor Pin from the base section.
    Position the MACKETBRACKET® on the formwork.
    Lift the top arm of the bracket 90º (refer Pic 1).
    Fasten the bottom plate to the base of the formwork.

     

     

    Step 2:


    Lower the top arm of the MACKETBRACKET® to the
    point it meets the top edge of the formwork.
    The MACKETBRACKET® can be easily adjusted by
    rotating the ReidbarTM Threaded Rod.
    The height of the MACKETBRACKET® can be
    adjusted by hand or with the use of a claw hammer.
    When the formwork is perpendicular, fasten the top
    bracket to the form with a screw.




    Step 3:


    Once the MACKETBRACKET® is secured to the form,
    ensure the formwork is aligned with the string
    line, guides or other reference marks used on site.
    Once final alignment and positioning is achieved,
    drive the steel Anchor Pin through the rear
    hole of the MACKETBRACKET® and into the soil
    using a sledge hammer.
    Installation of the MACKETBRACKET® is now complete.
