ReidBar Reo and Starters

Reidbar™ continuously threaded reinforcing bar provides a simple and flexible method of connecting reinforcing without the need for lapping, re-threading or bending rebar. The unique continuous thread provides Reidbar with an identical thread profile across its length, allowing it to be cut at any point without compromising its ability to connect with the wide range of Reidbar connection systems.Reidbar is manufactured from hot rolled Grade 500N reinforcing bar, and because no bending is required, its ductility and load capacity remains consistent across a project. The Reidbar connection systems have been specifically designed to ensure a “bar break” system, where they will not yield before the Reidbar itself. This provides engineers with confidence in designing structures with Reidbar being the limiting factor across the building envelope. Available in 12mm to 32mm diameter sizings, the opportunities for Reidbar are endless. Applications in thin walled panels up to heavy duty structural columns present no challenge to the Reidbar system. Reidbar Starter bars offer a pre-cut length of Reidbar providing sufficient embedment depth for the load and size of the Reidbar used. This is especially suited for Grouter and Insert connections.

ReidBar Reo™

Continuously threaded, hot rolled, Grade 500N reinforcing bar to AS4671.  Achieves efficient continuous reinforcing throughout the whole job.  It is recommended that all ReidBar Reo is saw cut for use with ReidBar fittings.
