ReidBrace
The ReidBrace™ bracing and tie system employs the simplicity of Reidbar™ in an economic solution for bracing structures and tie-back applications. ReidBrace is suitable for use in wall and roof bracing, retro fitted seismic bracing, retaining wall tie backs, and cross ties.
The continuous thread on Grade 500N Reidbar eliminates the need for expensive threaded rods, welding, and re-threading of cut-to-length bar. Longer lengths can be joined using Reidbar Couplers and locking nuts. Alternatively, over length bar can be cut to size without dismantling the bracing assembly or re-threading the tendon bar. Installation on site is done more quickly and easily with ReidBrace.
Like all Reidbar systems, ReidBrace provides a “bar break” connection. When designing for wind bracing or seismic loads, all structural calculation need only consider the capacity of the Grade 500N Reidbar.
