NEW FROM REID! The Titan III Precast Magnet Clamp:
The
Titan III is the next generation of precast magnet clamp that boasts a
number of significant design improvements over its
predecessor, The Titan II (MAG1). The T3 is stronger, tougher and
more durable than the Titan II providing precasters with improved
performance in both clamp force and centre-load or “shear” resistance.

Artistic Engineering or Engineered Art?
A
recent meeting of members of these two differing fraternities occurred
in Perth last year, in preparation for a project to be located in the
isolation of Port Headland. In mid-2009, artist Jahne Rees of
Scape-ism approached Reid’s Western Australian office with drawings for
an “Entry Statement” sculpture comprised of two rings; one of steel,
the other of reinforced concrete.
